Our Company

We are the sole authorised distributor of RAM® Mounts in Southern Africa, and we are B-BBEE Level 2 certified. Our team works from Johannesburg and supplies the full RAM® range to installers, fleets, resellers and end users across the region.

RAM Mounting Systems builds rugged, versatile mounting solutions for almost any device and any application: phones, tablets, cameras, GPS units, laptops, marine electronics, printers and radios among them.

RAM® Mounts is built on one interchangeable ball and socket system, with roughly 6,000 modular components in the range. Pick a base, an arm and a holder, and they fit together.

The ball is an elastomeric rubber, which is what gives a RAM® mount its grip and its shock and vibration damping. A mount holds its position on a bakkie track, a boat console or a forklift cab.

Components are made from assembly hardware, durable composites, stainless steel, rubber and aluminium. The range has been synonymous with quality and performance for more than two decades.

Most RAM® mounts carry a lifetime warranty against faulty manufacturing and defects.

Alongside RAM® Mounts we distribute the IntelliSkin® and GDS® Tech™ ecosystem. Drop-tested IntelliSkin® sleeves protect a wide range of phones and tablets and let a device charge, dock and sync through the standardised GDS® connector, so a vehicle or desk dock keeps working when the device inside it is replaced.

RAM® Mounts works with partners across industry. With the assembly options in the range, a device can be mounted to almost anything that drives, sails or flies: fleet and logistics vehicles, public safety, agriculture, mining, marine, aviation, motorcycles and field service.

We supply through a dealership network throughout Southern Africa, and we support those dealers directly. If you are looking for a product, our dealer locator will point you to your nearest reseller.

We are always open to new dealers. If you sell into vehicles, marine, aviation, motorcycles or industry and want to carry RAM® Mounts, contact us and we will take you through the reseller programme.

Our RAM® Mounts specialists can be reached by phone or email, or at our office in Johannesburg. Tell us the device and the vehicle and we will work out the mount.
